haha, well before -[SN1]- shleeps and -[SN1]- music helped me out, i had 10.0 mouse sensitivity, after they told me there's were lower in the 5's and 6's I believe, now mine is at 6.5 and it's pretty good.

omg 10 is a lot and 6.5 is too
all of this time i was using 1.0 but the mouse acceleration was turned on from windows
last nite i thought i'd give it a try without the acceleration and i had to change it to 1.5, because you'd never get to make an 180 turn with my small ass mouse pad albino

Mouse Sensitivity

Post  THE TORANDO on Fri Jan 01, 2010 11:00 pm

Before I used 6.0, but i lowered it to 2.0 because, some players told me ur aim is better with lower sensitivity

oh really, I didn't know a sensitivity below 5 would be any good, so I'll have to try it out around 2-3 thanks guys!

when starting to play well, i didn't use any mouse sensitivity below 1.6
now i'm using 1.0, but my mouse acceleration is turned on. apparently i got used to having mouse acceleration on.
it's easier to aim with a smaller sensitivity. because with one like 5 or even more you'd try to go a little to the side for example for aiming the head and you'd go way off

Right, right, so what would be a good mouse sensitivity without mouse acceleration?, I'm assuming it's all about preferences though...

yes, of course it's about preference.
you should play with whatever feels right for you and easier to aim
i was just saying that with a huge sensitivity if would be hard to aim and make accurate shots

Re: Mouse Sensitivity

and btw, there is such a thing as zoom_sensitivity_ratio which is by default 1.2
say ur sensitivity is 2.00 and ur zoom_sensitivity_ratio is 0.5. so when u'll zoom in with ur sniper rifle u will be using 2.00 x 0.5 = 1.00
