How to create your own spray for CS 1.6
Ever wanted to make your own spray? Well I have good news for you, it's quite simple. And I will teach you how to do it.
First of all, you need an application to convert the image to .wad file, which CS uses for sprays and other stuff.
I use HalfLife Logo Creator 1.0. This is a link to it
http://www.filefront.com/14317/HL-Logo-Creator-1.0/
Download and install it.
Run the application. It will ask you for the directory to hl.exe. So you need to show it the path to your CS folder and where hl.exe is located.
Next step is to open your image, by clicking on the Open button. Select the image you would like to make your spray.
Then press the Autosize button. This will make the image of a size appropriate for a CS spray.
At the bottom you will see a writing that says "Make a color logo for mod:"
You need to put a tick for CounterStrike, Team Fortress has to be unticked, and put a tick on Save it to:. You need to call the file "tempdecal.wad" and remember the location where you saved it.
Now press the Make WAD button at the top.
You will now have a tempdecal.wad saved to the folder where you selected. Copy the file. Go to your cstrike folder. Find "custom.hpk" and delete it. Then paste "tempdecal.wad" into that same folder and replace the existing file with your copy. Don't worry for "custom.hpk", it is being created each time you start Counter Strike.
Now open Counter Strike and enjoy spraying!

if you use a nice pic and convert it with HLC, it will become blurry, because for HL sprays it has to be in 256 colors. so it will become crappy after the conversion.
